Teacher comment

Josh, I was impressed with the way you experimented a lot, to develop your ideas around animation. I think you found a good balance of learning from outside sources, and using this knowledge to experiment and develop your own judgements. The way that you decided to share your knowledge with others, by creating your own tutorials, meant that you also had to think about your clarity when communicating with others. This is not easy! However you tackled this task with a critical mind, and didn’t rest until you had your tutorial exactly as you imagined. Well done for persisting, and striving to do your best!

My passion project keynote

This is my keynote where I have recorded all my learning as my passion project went on. It has all my sources of information, and my systems diagram for lego animation.

My passion project Rubrics

This is my rubric for my lego animation. I put what I did during my passion project.

my systems diagram (lego animation)

This is my systems diagram on lego animation that I did and I showed the input, throughput, outputs losses and feedbacks of lego animation.

My lego tutorial story board-passion project

This is my story board for my individual animation. I decided to do lego tutorials. The tutorials I am doing are frames per second , to make lego men steps believable , and special effects-chroma key.

My lego animation-passion project

This is the lego animation that Me ,Travis and Issac did. It shows what to do and what not to do in an earthquake. This is the third time we have done the animation because the first two ties they deleted themselves. We are also entering our animation in the TVNZ6 multimedia contest.

This is me Isaac and Travis. We are doing our passion project on lego animation. We are also entering the TZNZ 6 Muti media contest. Our animation is about what to do and what not to do in an earthquake.

This is my story board for the TVNZ6 net guide competion.

Lego animation tuotrial

Here are some tuotrials that I watched i learnt that 15 frames is the average speed. And you have to make the believable not make them jump a whole metre. And i also learnt some cool special effects.

Talent evaluation feedback

Josh you have shown a big shift in your understanding of systems and how robotics and systems link together. I was impressed with your links to the parts of a system and the components of the robots. You persisted throughout your talent development project especially when constructing and programming the explorer. You mentioned in your reflection you applied past knowledge to new situations, which is a great skill to learn especially when programming.

systems art

At Enrich we painted cogs because our inquiry is systems and cogs work together as a system.

At enrich we painted cogs because our focus is systems and the cogs work as a system. This is our input ,though puts/ processes, out puts, loses, and feedbacks.

Systems reflection

Our concept this year is systems. This is what I thought before, what I know now, and what I am still wondering.
